About the Role

The Senior Corporate Development Manager will be instrumental in shaping the organization's long-term growth strategies via strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion efforts. This role demands collaboration across multiple departments, including product, go-to-market, finance, legal, and operations, to drive key company priorities, combining strategic insight, financial evaluation, and comprehensive deal execution within a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executives and functional leaders to establish strategic goals and assess growth possibilities.
- Create and deliver detailed business case analyses, financial models, strategic insights, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Oversee the entire corporate development lifecycle including deal sourcing, thesis creation, due diligence, negotiation, completion, and integration.
- Execute financial analyses that inform investment choices, valuation discussions, and strategic planning efforts.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity, venture capital, and M&A developments to guide strategic considerations.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence to identify new opportunities and risks.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, operations, legal, finance, and HR to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in corporate development, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or related strategic roles.
- Preferably has led corporate development projects within high-growth technology or SaaS companies.
- Demonstrated expertise managing mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships from assessment through to execution.
- Proficient in financial modeling, business case formulation, and data-driven analysis.
- Capable of rapidly synthesizing complex information, tackling challenges, and delivering actionable solutions.
- Strong sense of ownership with the ability to work autonomously to achieve results.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, especially when engaging with senior leaders in product, engineering, and marketing functions.
- Ability to craft clear strategic recommendations and influence executive decisions.
- Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, or related technology sectors is advantageous.
- Open-mindedness towards responsibly integrating AI tools to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and overall effectiveness.
