Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Senior DevOps Engineers to participate in a paid remote AI training initiative focused on Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role involves crafting engineering-style prompts, establishing LocalStack sandboxes, and developing high-quality infrastructure solutions that include comprehensive tests, supporting AI learning for Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation. The position offers flexible, asynchronous work tailored for senior professionals in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed, realistic natural language prompts simulating engineering tickets with professional contexts and embedded ambiguities to simulate real-world challenges for AI models.
- Set up and manage LocalStack sandboxes as local AWS environment mocks to verify infrastructure tasks.
- Develop initial infrastructure configurations and "golden solutions" accompanied by automated, end-to-end passing tests.
- Maintain high standards for task quality, rejecting simplistic or poorly formatted submissions.
- Review AI-generated responses to infrastructure questions and select the accurate solution.
- Compose foundational simple prompts that serve as entry points for AI model development.
Required Qualifications
- Proven senior-level expertise in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with at least one Infrastructure as Code tool: strongly preferred AWS CDK, Terraform (HCL), or CloudFormation; knowledge of Pulumi, AzureRM, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is a plus.
- Competent in at least one programming language used for infrastructure automation and testing such as TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Excellent written English skills capable of conveying complex technical concepts clearly and adhering to strict style guidelines.

Compensation & Benefits
- Earn up to 50 USD per hour, with pay varying based on expertise and project scope.
- Additional incentives available beyond the hourly rate.
- Payments processed via PayPal and AirTM.

Work Conditions
- Fully remote work setting allowing flexible scheduling.
- Weekly workload varies by project availability, generally 5 to 10 hours, with possibilities up to 40 hours.
