Senior C++ / C# Software Engineer - Front Office Risk Platform

About the Role

A leading global financial services company is expanding its engineering division and seeks a seasoned C++ and/or C# Software Engineer to contribute to the next iteration of their enterprise risk platform. This role is particularly suited for engineers skilled in modern C++ or C# who have experience building or improving risk engines within capital markets. You'll be part of a specialized team working on low-latency, essential systems spanning multiple asset types.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient applications using C++ and/or C#.
• Enhance and support a multi-asset risk engine applied throughout the trading platform.
• Collaborate with quantitative pricing and risk libraries integration.
• Develop scalable services distributing risk and market data to various applications.
• Create APIs and data services for trading and risk user interfaces.
• Partner closely with quantitative developers, traders, and platform engineers.
• Optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Advocate and implement modern software engineering methodologies and platform design.

Candidate Profile

• Proven commercial experience in C++ and/or C# development.
• Background in constructing or refining risk platforms or engines in financial markets.
• Understanding of cross-asset trading ecosystems.
• Experience with integrating quantitative or pricing libraries.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and integration.
• Knowledge of Redis or equivalent in-memory data stores is a plus.
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, including performance tuning and clean architecture.
• Excellent communication skills enabling collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Background

• Senior C++ Engineer or Director-level professional with extensive C/C++ expertise and some C# experience.
• Senior C# Engineer or Associate Director aiming for a Director role, experienced in enterprise data platforms, analytics, or risk management software.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between 220,000 and 250,000 SGD annually, inclusive of base pay and bonus incentives.
