Role Summary

We are looking for a Scientist to join our whole organ preservation team, leveraging expertise in perfusion, preservation, and viability assessment. The role demands a passion for rapid protocol optimization to advance large organ cryopreservation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct isolation and ex-vivo evaluations of pig and rat organs, including perfusion procedures and histological analyses.
• Develop and refine experimental protocols and assays.
• Collaborate within the scientific team to assess post-cryopreservation organ health.
• Manage preparation, ordering, and maintenance of experiments, ensuring readiness of equipment and materials.
• Guarantee precise sample handling and prompt data documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in biology or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience of at least 3 years in independent scientific research.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for expedited problem-solving and exploring innovative methodologies.
• Interest in working in laboratory environments.
• Proactive approach, strong problem-solving capabilities, and commitment to pushing scientific boundaries through meaningful contributions.
