Schulhausmeister/in (Facility Supervisor)

Overview

As part of the Department for Education, Social Affairs, and Sports in the city of Ravensburg, you will be responsible for the technical management and upkeep of school buildings, including related facilities and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical maintenance of school premises and associated rooms as well as events held therein.
• Supervise cleaning activities and maintain the outdoor grounds.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with traffic safety obligations, including winter services.
• Assist in organizing school operations and events.
• Stand in for fellow facility supervisors and serve as the safety officer.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a skilled trade, preferably in electrical engineering or heating/ventilation technology.
• Practical craftsmanship abilities, strong teamwork skills, dedication, and time flexibility beyond normal working hours.
• Social aptitude with confident interaction involving diverse groups, including students.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Compliance with the Measles Protection Act and possession of a valid Class B driving license.
