SAP FICO Consultant

Overview

Premier Energies, founded in 1995 and supported by GEF Capital, specializes in manufacturing solar cells and modules using advanced technologies. The company is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join their team in Hyderabad to implement and enhance their financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and deploy SAP FICO solutions tailored to organizational financial needs.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide effective SAP FICO solutions.
• Manage SAP FICO tasks including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
• Perform business and gap analyses, and assist in blueprint preparation to facilitate SAP implementations and upgrades.
• Ensure smooth integration of the FICO module with other SAP components such as MM, SD, and PP.
• Configure payment automation, tax processing, and financial reports in SAP.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end users after implementation phases.
• Resolve SAP FICO issues and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing operations.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers to specify necessary customizations and system enhancements.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum five years’ experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
• Extensive knowledge in SAP FI and CO modules with strong experience in configuration and customization.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.
• Good understanding of financial and controlling business processes, including IFRS and GAAP standards.
• Experience integrating SAP with MM, SD, PP, and HR modules.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Proficient communication skills and experience in client interaction.
• Possession of an SAP FICO certification is preferred.

Additional Desired Skills

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
• Knowledge of Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
• Familiarity with data migration tools such as LSMW, BAPI, and IDOCs.
• Basic understanding of ABAP debugging techniques.
