Role Overview

The Sales Manager will spearhead the expansion of principal representation and trading operations within Saudi Arabia and broader GCC regions, focusing chiefly on Water & Wastewater systems such as seawater and surface water intake, screening, filtration, and desalination process equipment. The role also demands involvement in power, oil & gas, and industrial markets. The objective is to cultivate and leverage relationships with international principals (OEMs), facilitating prequalification and transforming technical engagements into closed, revenue-bearing contracts with EPCs and end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain key principal relationships, aligning strategies, pricing, and business plans across territories.
• Act as the on-the-ground representative for principals, converting product capabilities into competitive local opportunities.
• Assist in principal onboarding, facilitating vendor registration, prequalification, and local approvals with major end users and EPCs.
• Enlarge market penetration for principals in KSA and GCC, emphasizing Water & Wastewater sectors.
• Discover and secure opportunities involving open water intakes, surface water screening and filtration, seawater intakes for desalination and brackish water treatment, and passive submerged/offshore intakes.
• Engage in project scopes covering bar screens (coarse and fine), traveling band and drum screens, mechanical pre-treatment systems including screening, grit removal, handling of screenings, and intake shut-off/isolation devices.
• Address adjacent sectors such as power (cooling water intakes), oil & gas, and heavy industries (aluminium, steel) for technology application.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, EPCs, consultants, desalination plant operators, and end users.
• Collaborate with key decision-makers in client and consulting organizations to meet solution requirements.
• Represent the company and principals in technical discussions, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain excellent customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships with principals and clients.
• Work closely with regional offices, principals, and internal teams to align technical and commercial efforts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor actions, and upcoming projects in Water & Wastewater and desalination in the GCC.
• Track tendering activities related to intake, screening, and filtration for large desalination, power, and industrial water projects.
• Provide strategic recommendations for business growth, principal selection, and market positioning to management.
• Take ownership of assigned business targets and performance metrics.
• Achieve sales targets, stimulate revenue growth, and meet profitability goals.
