About the role
As a Sales Assistant, you will contribute to a lively, customer-focused retail environment where service, sales and store presentation all matter. The role suits someone who enjoys working in a busy, target-driven setting and brings energy, friendliness and a genuine commitment to creating a welcoming shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, attentive service and build positive relationships with customers.
- Handle cash and Eftpos transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Develop and apply strong product knowledge across the full range of the business.
- Maintain excellent store presentation, including merchandising and general visual standards.
- Work toward sales budgets, targets and key performance indicators.
- Support stock control processes and help manage product quality.
- Follow all relevant national laws, workplace health and safety requirements, and security procedures.
