Role Overview
The Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring guest rooms meet and exceed the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Responsibilities include cleaning and organizing guest rooms, replenishing linens and amenities, maintaining cleanliness in common floor areas, and promptly reporting maintenance issues or lost items to supervisors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and organize guest rooms and floor areas following Shangri-La and Traders standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and guest supplies as needed, ensuring cleaning equipment and trolleys are maintained and orderly.
- Report any maintenance concerns, damages, or lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor without delay.
- Consistently deliver polite and attentive service to guests.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness to the highest standards.
- Effective time management and organizational capabilities, comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent guest service.
- Willingness and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- One to two years of professional housekeeping experience along with proficient English language skills.
- Educational background including a High School Diploma or a Diploma in Hospitality Management is generally required.
