Position Summary
As a Room Attendant at HotelCare, you will play a key role in maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards that boost guest satisfaction. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on upholding impeccable room hygiene and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly to meet company standards.
- Replace bed linens and towels, empty waste containers, and replenish toiletries and amenities.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean mirrors to ensure orderly appearance.
- Sanitize surfaces effectively to uphold hygiene.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and bathroom product inventory.
- Report maintenance problems or damages promptly to supervisors.
- Follow manager directives and comply with safety regulations.
- Safeguard guest privacy and security of rooms.
- Provide courteous, professional service and respond swiftly to guest requests.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in hospitality housekeeping or a similar role is preferable.
- Must be physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for long durations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective time management and strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to learn new tasks and adapt to organizational needs.
- Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude and motivation to take accountability for work.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities under pressure.
- Respect confidentiality and act with integrity.
- Awareness of and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Working Hours and Flexibility
This role typically involves up to 40 hours per week including some weekend shifts. Flexibility to adjust hours or undertake additional reasonable duties may be required to meet business needs.
