Risk Analyst - Qatarization

Role Purpose

This position is responsible for supporting enterprise risk management and business continuity efforts by delivering thorough risk analyses, generating insightful risk reports, and continuously maintaining, testing, and improving departmental business continuity plans. The role ensures that risk management practices and continuity strategies remain effective, current, and consistently aligned with the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine data from departmental risk registers, incidents, complaints, audits, and reviews to identify patterns and significant findings.
• Recognize trends, emerging risks, and recurring issues and report these to the Head of Risk and Compliance for action.
• Contribute to the development, upkeep, and refinement of organizational risk dashboards and comprehensive reports.
• Assist in the regular review and enhancement of departmental business continuity plans ensuring their ongoing suitability and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with various departments to update business continuity plans reflecting any changes in operations, organization, or risk landscape.
• Support the organization, coordination, and documentation of business continuity testing and related exercises.
• Evaluate the results of business continuity tests and propose actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Manage records, versions, and evidence related to business continuity plan tests and documentation.
• Participate in enterprise-wide and departmental risk assessment activities as required.
• Aid in maintaining governance documentation, risk records, and reporting standards compliant with organizational policies.
• Track and assist in managing follow-up actions stemming from risk reviews, continuity testing, and assurance processes.
• Perform additional responsibilities delegated by immediate supervisors as relevant to the role.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in health science, business management, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Professional certifications in risk management and compliance are highly advantageous.
• A proven record of enhancing processes, workflows, and inter-departmental collaborations in prior positions.
• Between 4 to 6 years of relevant overall experience, including at least 2 years in a similar risk analysis or compliance role within the healthcare sector.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and resources effectively to ensure smooth office operations.
• Strong monitoring and review capabilities to maintain efficient risk and continuity plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation delivery skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills, paired with attention to administrative detail and numerical accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building positive, productive relationships across multicultural environments.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
