Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Resident Construction Manager to lead and oversee large-scale City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects throughout India. This role requires a professional with extensive knowledge in Steel, MDPE, and GI pipeline installation and the ability to manage multiple project sites effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily construction operations across several CGD project sites.
• Guarantee the on-schedule, safe, and quality completion of steel, MDPE, and GI pipeline works.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, vendors, and clients to maintain project alignment.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, and foster continuous performance enhancements.
• Carry out rigorous site inspections and enforce quality control protocols.
• Ensure strict adherence to PNGRB standards, safety procedures, and environmental guidelines.
• Efficiently manage labor, materials, and site logistics.
• Compile and deliver progress reports, financial tracking, and risk evaluations to senior management.
• Maintain exemplary safety practices conforming to company and industry regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• At least 12 years of experience in CGD projects focusing on Steel, MDPE, and GI pipelines.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position (Resident Construction Manager or Project Manager).
• Demonstrated success managing extensive construction projects.
• Strong leadership qualities with effective team management skills.
• Excellent communication capabilities and stakeholder engagement expertise.
• Experience overseeing projects across diverse locations.
• Willingness to travel extensively within India as necessary.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
