Job description
Overview
We are seeking a Construction Manager to join a prominent company in Ireland's Renewable Energy sector. This hybrid role involves occasional travel to project sites throughout Ireland and centers on managing projects from late-stage development through to their successful completion. The Construction Manager will work closely with key stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), and Transmission System Operators (TSOs). Expertise in meeting ESB/EirGrid standards is essential.
Primary Duties
- Lead project delivery ensuring compliance with Irish regulations and rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Manage project timelines and budgets to achieve on-time and on-budget completion.
- Communicate project risk management status clearly to clients.
- Oversee contractor tender invitations and monitor their progress through the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to design review processes to ensure project specifications are met.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in the Irish Renewable Energy industry.
- Demonstrated work on projects involving 110kV grid connections and utility-scale renewable installations.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is considered a beneficial skill.
