Join an energetic creative team as a freelance video editor specializing in music-related vlogs and social media content. This role suits those passionate about crafting cinematic, story-driven videos with dynamic pacing. You will work remotely on various projects, including tour documentation, behind-the-scenes footage, live performances, lip-sync music videos, and short clips optimized for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. Initially part-time, this contract position may expand to full-time as content demands grow, offering a unique chance to evolve alongside a prominent music act and enhance their digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and edit tour vlogs, behind-the-scenes content, and live performance footage.
- Create captivating short-form videos tailored for different social media channels.
- Develop visually appealing thumbnails and incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and seamless transitions.
- Apply professional color grading and sound design to elevate storytelling impact.
- Monitor social media trends to adapt video content and strategy accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with the creative team to ensure consistent visual branding.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience producing cinematic, narrative-driven YouTube or social media videos.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar editing software.
- Excel in pacing, storytelling techniques, and visual composition principles.
- Proficiency in music editing, sound design, and creating motion graphics.
