Role Overview
The Logistics Manager is accountable for ensuring the efficient and timely transport of finished products from international manufacturing sites to local warehouses. This position supports both production schedules and inbound logistics by managing relationships with manufacturers, overseeing import/export operations, and routing shipments effectively. Key tasks include communicating production timelines, monitoring shipment progress, working closely with third-party logistics providers, managing purchase orders via ERP systems, and guaranteeing punctual deliveries across various sales channels. The manager will analyze transit information, handle customs duty classifications, reconcile billing invoices, and propose enhancements to improve supply chain processes. Collaboration with multiple departments is essential to meet market launch deadlines and align with overall business objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics and project management
- Familiarity with B2B accounts and ERP software, with a preference for NetSuite
- Excellent communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in cross-department collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain, or a closely related discipline is preferred
