Position Overview
This role serves as the main human resources liaison for employees within one or several regional areas. The Regional HR Manager collaborates closely with management teams to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure effective execution of human resources programs, including recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, training initiatives, and safety policies.
- Manage employee disciplinary processes, conduct terminations sensitively, and lead investigations when necessary.
- Advise and mentor leadership on managing employee performance and evaluations.
- Partner with both field and corporate HR teams to standardize human resources practices across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulatory requirements at various locations.
- Contribute to creating and implementing strategies geared towards employee retention.
- Schedule and perform quarterly visits to regional facilities to engage with employees and address concerns directly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline.
- At least five years of advancing experience in human resources management or as a generalist.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment legislation.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively—requiring 50% or more travel time.
