Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is essential to the recruitment team, focusing primarily on field-level security staff hiring. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle including posting job ads, sourcing candidates through diverse channels, liaising with staffing agencies, and following up with leads to recruit qualified personnel. The specialist oversees requisitions using the applicant tracking system (ATS), screens and interviews candidates, and helps refine recruitment strategies to attract excellent talent. This position demands initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and supporting the organization's staffing goals.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or at least two years of progressively responsible related experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree requirement
- Highly organized with strong planning abilities
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude and clear written communication
- Proven experience creating and executing effective recruitment strategies
- Customer service focused approach
- Capable of independent work and handling multiple deadlines
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing technologies

Job Responsibilities
- Manage requisitions and recruitment workflow in the ATS
- Source candidates using dashboards, resume databases, and agency collaborations
- Screen resumes and conduct interviews to evaluate candidate suitability for security positions
- Maintain and update hiring profiles across various markets and locations
- Support recruitment in challenging geographic markets throughout the U.S.
- Offer management recommendations for recruitment improvements and strategic initiatives
- Analyze hiring data and trends to optimize recruitment results
- Ensure compliance with ATS usage and maintain accurate candidate records
- Work closely with hiring managers and department leaders to define staffing needs
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts for talent acquisition processes
