Position Overview

This part-time position involves working 3 to 4 shifts weekly, with shifts varying from early mornings starting at 7am to late evenings finishing at 11pm. Therefore, candidates should be flexible and available to work midweek and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly reception experience.
• Manage the guest check-in process accurately and efficiently.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of hotel services and facilities to effectively communicate these to guests.
• Ensure all guest charges are correctly invoiced to their accounts.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest inquiries received via phone or in person.
• Address guests’ needs and ensure their requirements are fulfilled.
• Set up accounts for group functions or syndicates as needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room allocations.
• Maintain cash floats at appropriate levels for operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of one year’s experience in hotel reception or a similar role.
• A professional and approachable demeanor at work.
• Fluent English proficiency in both spoken and written form is essential.
• Availability to work variable shifts including weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities.
• Previous experience with Hotsoft property management software is advantageous.
