Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor and Billing Engineer with expertise in commercial and IT office interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant background in commercial high-rise construction and familiarity with project planning tools is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile Bills of Quantities (BOQs), measure quantities and estimate costs based on drawings.
• Confirm on-site material usage and quantities.
• Prepare and process client running account (RA) bills and contractor bills systematically.
• Conduct detailed rate analysis and oversee cost management.
• Manage project budgets and cash flow monitoring effectively.
• Coordinate communication between Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Accounts departments.
• Monitor project progress and generate billing-related management information system (MIS) reports.
• Reconcile quantities and finalize billing documentation.
• Handle variations, extras, and changes in project scope with appropriate billing adjustments.
• Maintain comprehensive billing records and project documentation.
• Preferred: Develop project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera and track progress.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying and billing, specifically with commercial and IT office interior fit-out projects.
• Strong familiarity with BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, rate analysis, and project billing processes.
• Good practical knowledge of interior finishing materials and their execution.
• Proficient with MS Excel and AutoCAD software.
• Experience with project planning preferred.
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
