Role Overview
The Quality Management Analyst role is a full-time position based in New York, NY, combining on-site and remote work responsibilities. This analyst supports the development, execution, and oversight of quality improvement efforts across programs. They ensure that services meet safety, effectiveness, and compliance standards consistent with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data from programs and performance metrics.
- Create reports and visual dashboards to highlight findings and track progress.
- Identify trends and recommend areas needing improvement.
- Collaborate with program staff and leadership to formulate and implement corrective action plans.
- Assist with compliance reviews, audits, and internal quality assessments.
- Contribute to the development and updating of policies and procedures.
- Maintain thorough documentation relating to quality and compliance matters.
- Support training initiatives tied to quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Skilled in managing and analyzing data utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
- Experience in quality assurance, performance measurement, and continuous improvement approaches within human services or healthcare contexts.
- Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation compliance requirements, emphasizing detailed record keeping and documentation.
- Strong communication skills to prepare clear reports, executive summaries, and presentations for different stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects in fast-paced settings.
- Collaborative approach with the capacity to foster positive working relationships internally and externally.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, public health, data analytics, psychology, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is beneficial.
- Background in social services, child welfare, education, behavioral health, or nonprofit sectors is advantageous.
- Comfortable with electronic health records, case management software, and adopting new technologies.
- A commitment to equity, inclusion, trauma-informed care, and person-centered practice in serving diverse populations.
