Quality Engineer

About the Role

The Quality Engineer role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that integrate various ecosystem components, enhancing delivery speed and quality throughout the application lifecycle. This role emphasizes continuous testing including security, API, and regression suites. The engineer is responsible for developing automation strategies, creating and maintaining automated scripts, and managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, active participation in code reviews and defect monitoring supports continuous improvement in the testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act autonomously and evolve into a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Engage proactively in team discussions and contribute ideas.
• Provide effective solutions to work challenges.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of quality software.
• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks to boost testing efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze testing outcomes and deliver comprehensive feedback to development teams for ongoing enhancements.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise and supporting their development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.
• Proven experience designing and executing automated testing strategies focused on APIs and security.
• In-depth knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Capability to develop and maintain automated regression and functional test scripts.
• Experience managing environment and data configurations to facilitate testing activities.
• Competence in defect tracking and reporting for continuous process improvements.
• Minimum of 3 years' professional experience working with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.
• Completed 15 years of full-time education.
