Quality Controller

Overview

Inditex is seeking an experienced Quality Controller to join their team in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. This role focuses on overseeing and assuring the quality of leather footwear products in line with the company's standards.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a degree or diploma specializing in Footwear Technology, emphasizing shoe construction, materials, and quality benchmarks within the footwear industry.

Experience

Ideal applicants will have 8 to 10 years of demonstrated experience as a Leather Footwear Quality Controller within the footwear sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of raw materials, components, and final footwear to ensure quality adherence.
• Carry out diverse testing procedures to evaluate durability, performance, and overall quality of footwear items.
• Ensure compliance of all products with industry regulations and internal quality benchmarks.
• Keep abreast of footwear-related standards and regulatory changes.
• Detect and document any defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Collaborate actively with production and design units to address and rectify quality problems.
• Suggest and implement corrective measures to mitigate recurrence of quality defects.
• Provide insights to improve production workflows and quality assurance procedures.
• Conduct training sessions for production personnel on quality criteria and inspection methodologies.
