Role Overview

The company is looking for a proactive, detail-focused QA Analyst & Project Coordinator to support application development and production teams. This role involves manual testing, defect monitoring, project coordination, and communication with stakeholders to guarantee smooth, compliant, and high-quality software outputs. Candidates should be adept at managing numerous responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing on web applications to validate quality and specification adherence.
• Develop comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and datasets that thoroughly cover application functionalities.
• Verify backend data integrity and correctness using SQL queries.
• Assess accuracy and formatting of application-generated PDFs, reports, and other outputs.
• Conduct accessibility testing aligned with ADA, Section 508, and WCAG standards.
• Document, prioritize, track, and retest defects ensuring their effective resolution and closure.
• Maintain test documentation and project tracking, managing deadlines and dependencies diligently.
• Coordinate daily status updates with the development team capturing start and end of day progress.
• Compile and present daily and weekly consolidated status reports outlining key issues, risks, and accomplishments.
• Follow up with developers on assigned tasks to address blockers and uphold timelines.
• Organize application demonstrations, UAT procedures, production releases, and post-release validations to facilitate smooth deployments.
• Engage in project meetings, effectively communicate updates to stakeholders, and escalate critical issues appropriately.
• Escalate significant defects, missed deadlines, risks, or unresolved blockers to minimize project disruptions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in software testing/quality assurance, including at least 2 years of hands-on manual testing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for backend validation tasks.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of accessibility requirements, including ADA, Section 508, and WCAG compliance.
• Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) is preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, reporting, and coordination abilities.
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities efficiently and work independently.
• Availability to work a full shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
