Job Overview

As a Property Manager Trainee at Homestead Land Holdings Limited located in Burlington, Ontario, you will develop essential skills to oversee the residential property operations within your assigned building portfolio. Your role involves supervising team members, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently, and managing budgets while maintaining resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff in their daily functions.
• Promote and maintain positive interpersonal relationships within your team.
• Manage Net Operating Income (NOI) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budgets for your portfolio.
• Maintain safe and efficient operations across all properties managed.
• Ensure timely and accurate record keeping and documentation.
• Conduct thorough analyses of monthly financial reports.
• Be available for regular daytime hours Monday to Friday, including on-call emergency coverage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with computers and relevant technology.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Focus on achieving results and meeting objectives.
• Previous supervisory or management experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with property management practices and law is a plus.
• Must have reliable personal transportation and hold a valid Ontario driver's license.
