Group Overview
The Aerospace Engineering Group (AERO) oversees Metrea’s aviation engineering functions such as design integration and certification across three areas: Aerospace Design, Aircraft Integration Centre, and Airborne Asset Adaptation (A3) for coordination and project management of integration tasks.
Position Summary
The Project Scheduler plays a vital role supporting aircraft modification programs by managing Microsoft Project Web App (PWA) to drive efficient scheduling, project oversight, and resource allocation, ensuring timely delivery of airborne asset capabilities within budget and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer and configure PWA for modification, engineering, and maintenance projects including schedule setup and task assignments.
- Sequence work orders, optimize resources, and reduce downtime using current data.
- Maintain accurate digital documentation like work scopes, approvals, revisions, and audit trails.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA, maintenance, and supply chain teams to integrate project inputs in PWA.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to resolve scheduling conflicts and communicate project statuses.
- Track project progress through PWA, monitoring milestones, delays, and completion rates.
- Create tailored reports and analytics to present production metrics to management.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements, including custom views, system integrations, and automation within PWA.
- Provide training on PWA tools and Microsoft Project best practices.
- Use risk assessment to anticipate potential production challenges and prepare contingency plans.
Requirements
- Proven expertise with Microsoft Project Web App, including integration, custom fields, and reporting.
- Strong organizational aptitude with ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical thinker focused on data-driven decisions.
- Attention to detail and dedication to policy compliance.
- Ability to work autonomously and in collaborative teams.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Project Management, IT, Business Administration, or similar.
- Microsoft Project certification(s).
- 3 to 5 years experience in aviation maintenance, repair, or modifications, ideally within FAA Part 145 facilities.
- Hands-on experience with PWA, Project Server/Online, or comparable project management platforms.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations including Parts 145 and 21.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, project and quality management systems such as AS9100, and safety protocols.
- Valid driver’s license.

Work Conditions and Schedule
- This is a full-time role based on-site with standard Monday to Friday hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., subject to change based on department needs.
