Project Manager - Smart Infrastructure, Abu Dhabi UAE

About the Role

Join the Smart Infrastructure Electrifications and Automation team dedicated to revolutionizing the integration of digital power distribution and building infrastructure technologies. We empower customers to create sustainable, efficient, safe, and intuitive buildings by bridging the physical and digital worlds through data and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers alongside Sales or Key Account Managers to discuss technical solutions.
• Identify and clarify customer goals, requirements, and Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications.
• Lead tender participation and negotiation processes with clients when necessary.
• Oversee overall project planning, including resource allocation decisions.
• Configure major components of switchgear using NXTOOL software.
• Track project milestones and budget compliance, initiating corrective actions to reduce costs from deviations.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate on-site commissioning activities in collaboration with Site Engineering Management.
• Comply with Project Management standards and corporate Business Conduct Guidelines including tax, export control, and environmental health and safety policies.
• Manage and coordinate all temporarily assigned project personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in project management within the infrastructure sector.
• Proficiency in NXTOOL for configuring Gas and Air Insulated Switchgear.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Siemens certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and planning abilities.
• Fluent English language skills.
