- Ensure completion of projects safely, on schedule, and within budget, managing projects typically valued between $5M and $30M involving site teams up to 40 personnel.
- Lead planning, subcontractor and labour management, procurement, contract administration, and handling of contract variations.
- Create and update project timelines, look-ahead schedules, and coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and opportunities and drive quality, safety, and schedule outcomes.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide accurate reporting to senior management.

- Comprehensive commercial construction experience within New Zealand.
- Proficient understanding of project financials and commercial viability.
- Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
- Capable of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Well-versed in construction sequencing, methodologies, and modern project/construction management software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Remuneration and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000 based on experience, plus a company vehicle for permanent employees.
- Assignments focused within Wellington CBD.
- Access to a long-term pipeline of confirmed work with high potential for equity participation.
- Engagement in challenging and rewarding commercial construction projects.
- Significant autonomy and influence over project outcomes.
- Consistent workload with a respected and stable contractor.
- Typically a 40 to 50-hour workweek.
