Project Manager - Landscape and Infrastructure Design

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee landscape architecture and infrastructure design initiatives in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role encompasses leadership of multidisciplinary teams and the successful execution of prominent development projects from initial concepts through detailed design phases across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle of landscape and infrastructure design projects, from initiation to detailed design and tender processes.
• Lead and coordinate diverse teams including landscape architects, civil and utilities engineers, irrigation specialists, and other technical experts.
• Create and manage comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, technical standards, and quality expectations.
• Continuously monitor project progress, proactively addressing risks and uncovering opportunities.
• Serve as the main liaison with clients and key stakeholders, nurturing relationships to facilitate successful delivery and future collaborations.
• Coordinate with government bodies, developers, contractors, and other project participants.
• Conduct project meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate progress and align expectations.
• Provide technical oversight for landscape architecture and the related infrastructure design components.
• Integrate designs across landscape, civil engineering, utilities, irrigation, roads, public realm, and urban development disciplines.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with Saudi Arabian codes, standards, and client project requirements.
• Conduct thorough reviews of design outputs to guarantee alignment with objectives and quality benchmarks.
• Support financial management efforts including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and implementing contract changes.
• Track project profitability and maintain optimal commercial performance.
• Assist with preparing technical and commercial proposals for business development.
• Contribute to contract administration and project reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate project team members, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Support recruitment, skills development, and knowledge transfer within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 15 years of professional practice, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Proven expertise in delivering landscape architecture and public realm projects.
• Experience overseeing multidisciplinary infrastructure projects including utilities, roads, drainage, irrigation, and civil works.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale urban developments, mixed-use complexes, hospitality projects, public realm, or infrastructure ventures.
• Background in leading engineering consultancy environments preferred.
• Previous involvement in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects is highly valued.
• Strong leadership and advanced project management skills.
• Excellent capabilities in managing clients and stakeholder relationships.
