Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of projects linked to recruitment and platform development, ensuring successful achievement of goals, deadlines, and quality criteria. This full-time, on-site position located in Kampala involves organizing project scopes, coordinating various teams, handling resources efficiently, and monitoring progress based on milestones. The role also requires liaising across internal teams and external partners, maintaining clear documentation, and proactively identifying risks and dependencies to ensure projects remain on track and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all phases of project implementation involving recruitment and platform enhancement.
• Work closely with cross-departmental teams and external collaborators to ensure smooth communication and task execution.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare regular status updates for stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to avoid project delays.
• Monitor daily workflows and optimize operational processes to boost efficiency and service quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing Job Connect's platform performance and user satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in project coordination, management, and expediting to ensure timely delivery of tasks and milestones.
• Experience in roles focused on expediting functions to secure necessary materials, approvals, and information promptly.
• Capability in inspection and quality control to confirm that project results conform to specified standards.
• Competency in logistics management to plan and track resource movements and participant coordination across projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in dynamic environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, decision-making aptitude, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline; possession of certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 is advantageous.
• Background in recruitment, technology platforms, or service industries is preferred.
