Project / Delivery Manager

Overview

This opportunity is for an experienced Project / Delivery Manager based in Ireland, working fully remotely. The role involves leading transformation initiatives and enhancing engineering team operations through ownership of delivery processes, identification of bottlenecks, and implementation of practical solutions to improve speed, quality, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery workflows ensuring projects align with business goals, schedules, and quality standards.
• Assess current processes to pinpoint delivery obstacles and suggest improvements to boost engineering team efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
• Lead change management by adopting new methodologies, frameworks, and best practices while securing team consensus.
• Apply Agile approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and software development lifecycle principles to refine planning, execution, and teamwork.
• Handle project scope, risk management, dependencies, resource allocation, and team capacity across intricate projects.
• Track and interpret delivery metrics like velocity, throughput, lead and cycle times, cumulative flow diagrams, and burndown/up charts to foster continuous enhancement.
• Configure and enhance project management tools including Jira (workflows, automation, dashboards), and Confluence for reporting and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to manage expectations, communicate updates, and resolve delivery challenges.
• Encourage a culture emphasizing ownership, transparency, and ongoing improvement within a supportive and cooperative work environment.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or related role showcasing successful delivery process improvements and team performance enhancements.
• Experience providing detailed case studies outlining identified problems, executed solutions, and tangible business or team benefits.
• Practical expertise in driving process improvements and change initiatives within software development contexts.
• Strong command of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SDLC best practices.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira (custom workflows, roles, JQL queries, automation, and reporting) and Confluence usage.
• Comprehensive understanding of delivery management areas such as scope and risk management, capacity planning, and project breakdown.
• Ability to analyze delivery data to inform actions that optimize performance and decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with aptitude for influencing, negotiating, and clear communication across diverse teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive, capable of independently identifying and solving problems with ownership.
• Resilient with strong problem-solving ability, maintaining structure during complex or high-pressure situations.
• Relevant certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM I/II, KMP) considered a valuable advantage.
• Experience scaling teams or applying delivery frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus is a plus.
• Background in iGaming, affiliate or digital marketing, process automation, or product analytics appreciated.
