About Total Wellness Initiative Singapore
Total Wellness Initiative Singapore (TWIS) is a social enterprise dedicated to encouraging people to be more intentional about their well-being. TWIS believes education can reduce stigma and empower individuals to prioritize mental health by equipping them with knowledge and practical skills for a balanced, healthier life. Through collaborations with various organizations, schools, and community groups including Govtech, A*Star, ShopBack, Aruba (Hewlett Packard Enterprise), General Assembly, HSBC, NTU, NUS, and others, TWIS promotes holistic and preventive wellness practices across Singapore.
Role Overview
The Programme Trainer and Coordinator plays a key role in delivering impactful mental health education programs that target diverse audiences, primarily in schools and organizations. This position involves both training delivery and program coordination, including managing schedules, materials, logistics, and conducting research to develop wellness-related content tailored to community needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver programmes like REST for WEllness—a mental health literacy course co-developed with IMH and REACH—to students from secondary school to university, after receiving comprehensive training.
- Coordinate and manage training schedules with educators and partners ensuring smooth execution of sessions.
- Research psychology and wellness topics to create and refine educational materials.
- Stay informed about wellness market trends relevant to Singapore to better align programs with community needs.
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks such as preparing proposals, generating reports, recruiting and overseeing staff and volunteers, and managing daily activities.
- Actively collaborate with partners, vendors, and the wider community to support wellness initiatives and expand professional networks.

- Develop facilitation and teaching abilities, including adapting to different audiences, managing group dynamics, and fostering interactive discussions.

Candidate Profile

Additional Information
Candidates will need to attend at least one in-person interview. Both full-time employees and part-time trainers are being considered for the role.
