Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to oversee significant automation projects for a key MedTech client. This onsite role involves managing a significant, multi-year automation program characterized by medium-to-high complexity projects in a regulated manufacturing setting, with the program running through mid-2028. The Program Manager will coordinate multiple Project Managers, ensure timely delivery of projects, and communicate progress and risks to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-profile automation projects with multi-year budgets, ensuring effective coordination among multiple Project Managers directing project execution.
- Prepare and submit Capital Funding Requests to secure necessary resources for the program.
- Utilize advanced MS Project skills to validate project schedules, conduct critical path analyses, and maintain detailed timelines.
- Provide regular and comprehensive reporting to senior-level stakeholders outlining program status, potential risks, and milestones.
- Implement strong project management fundamentals and governance to guarantee program success.
Required Experience
- At least 10 years of experience managing medium-to-high complexity programs with multi-year budgets in manufacturing or MedTech sectors.
- Preferably experienced in equipment installation and validation processes such as IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), and PQ (Performance Qualification) within manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in coordinating multiple Project Managers involved in automation initiatives.
- Skilled in preparing Capital Funding Requests, utilizing MS Project for scheduling and analysis, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- PMP or PgMP certification is preferred.
- Experience working in GMP-regulated environments and managing CAPEX automation projects.
- Capability to manage third-party vendors and facilitate cross-functional team collaboration.
