Role Overview: Program Buyer – Battery Systems

Based in Stockdorf, you will take ownership of procurement activities for a complex battery systems project. Your responsibilities include managing tender processes, negotiating terms with suppliers—especially on pricing and timelines—and overseeing change management to ensure project goals are met. You will direct projects and vendor interactions using suitable processes, methods, and tools and communicate results to top management. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, functional departments, and international regions is essential.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant holds a technical or business degree or comparable education with further purchasing training. Extensive procurement experience, preferably in project or program environments, is required. Familiarity with international project setups and working with technical suppliers is important. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, along with typical procurement and project management tools, is expected. Fluency in German and English and comfort with global communication are necessary.
