Production Planner

Role overview

MCC Label is seeking a Production Planner to work from Drogheda, reporting to the Production Manager and Deputy. This is an important coordination role that brings together multiple departments to put the production plan into action and help deliver customer orders on time and in full.

Key duties

• Build and maintain the production schedule.
• Review the previous 24 hours of schedule compliance and prepare a report.
• Plan the next 36 to 48 hours of production, with additional horizon planning as needed.
• Share the daily plan with internal stakeholders.
• Keep the schedule aligned with live production activity by updating shift patterns as work progresses.
• Take part in the morning T1 and T2 production meetings.
• Provide lead-time guidance based on the schedule and open order book.
• Help protect OTIF performance by setting accurate lead times.
• Manage escalation activity when issues arise.

Working arrangements

The position is based on a minimum 39-hour week under the employment contract. Extra hours may be needed depending on business requirements.
