Production Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Strictly adhere to the company's established safety protocols at all times.
• Recognize the organization's emphasis on safety and promptly report any equipment-related safety risks.
• Engage actively in initiatives aimed at enhancing safety standards.
• Ensure that equipment is used efficiently and that processes remain stable.
• Take part proactively in continuous learning and performance improvement activities.
• Participate in key projects such as reducing costs, improving yield and process capability (Cpk), developing new products and processes, qualifying new machinery, optimizing production, improving cycle times, and evaluating or qualifying new materials.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, which might vary depending on project progress or specific divisional objectives.

Education & Experience

• A minimum of a diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work setting.
• Attention to detail with meticulous work habits.
• Dynamic, committed, and proactive in approach.
• Highly motivated individual with strong team collaboration skills.
• Practical knowledge in quality and process improvement tools such as PDCA, visual performance charts, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) is an advantage.
• Experience with root cause analysis and line issue troubleshooting.
• Understanding of 5S housekeeping principles, environmental, and safety regulations is beneficial.
• Knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes adds value.
