Production Executive

Role Overview

The Production Executive will collaborate closely with the Master Blender and Production Manager to assist in blending operations, production planning, quality assurance, inventory oversight, and proper documentation. This position offers hands-on learning in the science and artistry of spirit manufacturing, providing comprehensive exposure to the entire production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing blend batches as per approved formulas alongside the Master Blender.
• Accurately measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients.
• Support activities such as product sampling, tasting sessions, and evaluations to maintain blend consistency.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of recipes and blending logs.
• Participate in developing experimental blends and innovative products.
• Coordinate daily production operations with the team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Prepare materials required for production and ensure availability on schedule.
• Assist in bottling, packaging, labeling, and dispatch processes.
• Help monitor production timelines and work towards achieving daily targets.
• Support machine setups and changeovers as needed.
• Liaise with procurement for raw material needs.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety standards.
• Assist in collecting and monitoring quality control samples to ensure product standards.
• Maintain production and blending area hygiene and cleanliness.
• Report deviations or quality concerns promptly.
• Ensure all blend quality metrics are consistently met.
• Keep thorough records of raw materials, batch details, finished goods, and production logs.
• Assist in stock audits and inventory reconciliation efforts.
• Support statutory and excise documentation compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and assist during inspections and audits.
• Follow workplace safety protocols and undertake other production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Distillation Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience up to 2 years in beverages, FMCG, food processing, brewery, winery, distillery, or manufacturing preferred.
• Essential knowledge of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) spirits.
