Team Overview
Our Global Product Strategy & Operations team is a focused, impactful group responsible for guiding the worldwide product initiatives at Stripe. We collaborate cross-functionally within the Global Product team as well as across other departments, crafting strategic plans, creating scalable operational frameworks, and developing pioneering initiatives that significantly advance Stripe’s growth.
Role Summary
This position entails collaborating across multiple teams, including technical and user-facing groups, to tackle challenges that enhance user experience worldwide. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading cross-company strategic projects and partnering with teams to implement transformative changes.
- Collaborating with senior leadership and diverse teams to expedite progress, manage complex scaling challenges, and launch innovative programs.
- Conducting detailed analysis and research to inform overall strategy and optimize global product growth, especially for local payment solutions.
- Driving the product roadmap for the APAC market by compiling competitive insights, user feedback, and data analysis.
- Guiding Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams on prioritization to maximize long-term strategic impact.
- Working alongside Finance to manage planning activities, including investment decisions, strategy refreshes, operational plans, and objective setting.
- Monitoring the financial status of the APAC business to identify trends and develop actionable strategies for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Over seven years spent in strategy, business operations, or analytical roles in technology companies or comparable management consulting experience.
- Expertise in structuring ambiguous problems and delivering crystal-clear, practical insights from complex data.
- Competence in understanding technical products and explaining their benefits to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership of multifaceted projects involving multiple departments.
- Strong ability to manage diverse stakeholders and build consensus among senior leaders.
- Experience partnering with Product and Engineering groups.
- Success thriving in environments lacking formal authority and dealing with high ambiguity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a track record of effective collaboration across functions.
- A proactive mindset, flexibility, and skill in managing multiple responsibilities at once.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required.
