Product Owner

Role Overview

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and clearly communicating a unified product vision to stakeholders, development teams, and clients. You will own the complete accountability for the project's roadmap, managing its evolution and promoting continuous improvements. This role demands a deep understanding of the solution, its use cases, interdependencies, and entire lifecycle.

Your tasks will include transforming business requirements into clear and actionable user stories for development teams, setting functional and non-functional specifications, and contributing to acceptance criteria while supporting Automated Test Driven Development (ATDD) when applicable. You will prioritize the product backlog to maximize business value, oversee multiple project backlogs aligned with roadmaps and delivery goals, and participate in estimation and milestone communications.

Ensuring the delivery of robust, reusable, and maintainable features that comply with quality standards and SOPs will be key, alongside collaboration in integration and testing to guarantee solution consistency. You will engage with other Product Owners and stakeholders to eliminate obstacles and foster continuous enhancements. Acting as a trusted functional expert, you will also manage product documentation and inspire development teams.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years in the IT industry, ideally within software development, with experience as Product Owner or Business Analyst.
• Educational background in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar expertise.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience working within Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum.
• Demonstrated capability to translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent business analytical skills and problem-solving abilities with a clear sense of ownership and responsibility for outcomes.
• Customer-focused mindset with emphasis on end-to-end value creation.
• Proven experience in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, and making informed trade-offs.
• Familiarity with release management, including defining scope, planning, and communicating deliverables.
• Commitment to high quality, durable, reusable solutions ensuring sustainability.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across diverse and multicultural teams.
• Fluency in English; possession of Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) is advantageous.
