Product Experience Designer

About the Role

Join a pioneering team in Dublin focused on crafting world-class digital payment solutions that simplify and secure daily online transactions. This six-month contract role involves designing user-friendly, innovative digital experiences that impact millions globally, shaping the future of e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire product design lifecycle from initial discovery and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final delivery.
• Create accessible, intuitive, and scalable designs for digital platforms including web and mobile.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Content Designers, and other team members to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
• Lead design workshops, reviews, and collaborative problem-solving meetings.
• Perform usability testing, gather and analyze customer feedback, and refine designs accordingly.
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and interactive designs using Figma.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems, component libraries, and uphold design standards.
• Deliver pixel-perfect assets to development teams while advocating for accessibility and design best practices.
• Integrate AI tools to enhance design workflows and product innovation.

Experience and Skills Required

• At least 3 years of professional experience in product experience, UX, or digital product design.
• Demonstrable portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions for digital products.
• Proficiency in interaction design, prototyping, and conducting usability tests.
• Advanced skills in Figma, especially with design systems and asset management.
• Solid knowledge of accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.0 AA compliance.
• Successful track record of providing engineering-ready designs with excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.
• Strong enthusiasm for developing simple, elegant solutions to complex user challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in UX research or visual communication design.
• Understanding of micro-interactions and animation techniques.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, or JSON.
• Experience in payment systems, fintech, or e-commerce sectors.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI to improve design workflows.
