Role Overview
The Product Designer will be responsible for crafting thoughtful, user-friendly product experiences spanning BJAK’s suite of financial services. This position entails collaborating with product managers and engineers to translate intricate financial workflows into fast, accessible, and reliable user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive product experiences from initial concept to live deployment.
- Convert product requirements into detailed user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and finished UI designs.
- Create intuitive designs for diverse financial products including insurance, payments, claims, and investments.
- Establish and sustain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure fidelity of design implementation.
- Enhance usability through agile iteration driven by product metrics and user feedback.
- Ensure uniformity across mobile and web platforms.
- Consistently polish interactions, accessibility features, and overall product excellence.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience designing digital products.
- A strong portfolio showcasing strategic product design and visual excellence.
- Expert-level skills in Figma and interactive prototyping tools.
- Deep knowledge of design systems, component libraries, and responsive UI design.
- Strong capability in information architecture and user flow development.
- Excellent grasp of visual design principles including typography, spacing, and interaction design.
- Proven ability to simplify complex workflows into user-friendly designs.
- Submission of a portfolio is mandatory.
