About the Role

Join Walmart Canada as a Produce Stocker and build your expertise within the retail sector. This role involves delivering excellent customer service grounded in Walmart's core values, managing produce merchandising areas, and assisting with stocking and sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the produce department zones efficiently.
• Rotate inventory regularly, checking for expired or outdated stock.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately priced and clearly labeled.
• Comply with standards related to cold chain management, including calibration of thermometers, recording temperatures, proper food handling, product rotation, and adhering to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols.
• Execute procedures related to ordering stock, clearance sales, markups and markdowns, and pricing updates.
• Keep the department fully stocked and ready to serve customers throughout business hours.
• Abide by health and safety regulations during all tasks.
• Stock and organize merchandise, manage downstocking if needed, apply product protection measures, and set up restock units including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The minimum hourly pay starts at 16.35 CAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement is 16 years or older.
