G R Infraprojects Limited is an established and fast-growing Indian infrastructure company with over 30 years of experience. It specializes in Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) and project management across sectors such as roads, highways, bridges, airport runways, railways, metro systems, power transmission, and tunneling. The company also undertakes operations and maintenance of roads and highways under BOT and HAM models, with manufacturing units for bitumen processing, road-marking paints, signage, and electronic equipment, along with fabrication of galvanized metal crash barriers and OHE masts. Role Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services required locally on the project site in Bijapur, Karnataka.
• Identify and assess potential local suppliers and vendors to develop reliable procurement sources.
• Solicit quotations, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality.
• Liaise closely with project and site teams to gather material needs and schedule deliveries accordingly.
• Monitor procurement progress to guarantee timely receipt of items critical to project timelines.
• Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation, records, and reporting.
• Execute purchase requisitions and process purchase orders utilizing SAP software.
• Ensure all procurement steps comply with the company's policies and procedures.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and material reconciliation at the project location.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Graduate degree in any discipline; candidates with engineering education preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of procurement experience, ideally within construction, infrastructure, industrial, or project-driven settings.
• Practical knowledge of SAP, with preference for experience in the Materials Management (MM) module.
• Strong skills in negotiation, vendor relations, and effective communication.
• Good understanding of local market procurement practices and sourcing.
• Capability to work autonomously from a project site.
