Private Equity Analyst

Overview

A prestigious private equity fund with a strong track record is looking to expand its investment team. This role offers the opportunity to be actively involved in every step of the investment process, from deal sourcing through to portfolio management, while taking on responsibility at an early stage.

Location

Munich, Bavaria, Germany, with possibility of other locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct market and company research as well as comprehensive financial modeling.
• Participate in due diligence procedures and prepare investment documentation.
• Support portfolio reviews and strategic initiatives aimed at value enhancement.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members and external consultants.

Candidate Profile

• Up to four years of relevant experience in private equity, M&A, corporate finance, valuation, or transaction advisory services.
• Strong academic background in economics, finance, or related disciplines.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
• Independent and organized work style along with confident communication skills in both German and English.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
