Presales Consultant

Role Overview

As a Presales Consultant working closely with the sales team, you will provide crucial technical assistance and tailored demonstrations to potential and existing clients. Your role entails qualifying sales opportunities through in-depth questioning and delivering comprehensive proof of concept presentations supporting the company's products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Account and Product Managers by assessing prospective opportunities with technical insights.
• Deliver detailed pre-sales technical assistance and product demonstrations to customers and partner organizations.
• Conduct training sessions educating partners on the company’s product solutions.
• Develop and improve technical content for Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Present and demonstrate product capabilities to clients.
• Organize and manage technical validation events such as Proof of Concepts (POC).
• Maintain and coordinate the resources and assets needed for POCs.
• Participate in relevant conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions as requested.
• Provide recommendations and influence marketing content development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive understanding of vendor products and fundamental networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, UNIX administration, and familiarity with switches, routers, and firewalls in intranet/internet settings.
• Strong knowledge of network and security concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills capable of simplifying complex technologies.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Highly self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities including unpredictable requests.
• Capability to follow instructions carefully and seek clarification when necessary.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs and concerns of others.
• Effective communication and interaction skills across all management levels.
