Plumber

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Journeyman Plumber to join the Maintenance team at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. This full-time role requires hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing throughout the park to ensure all facilities are safe and sanitary. Candidates may also assist with HVAC system upkeep. The position involves varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage between $25 and $28 based on experience.
• Additional $1 per hour for shifts after 5pm and $5 per hour extra on weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing tasks according to all safety codes and quality workmanship standards.
• Maintain and care for wet and dry pipe automatic fire sprinkler systems compliant with local regulations.
• Service potable water distribution, plant infrastructure, bathrooms, showers, sanitary sewers, and gas systems.
• Conduct daily inspections of properties and assets to ensure proper functioning.

Qualifications

• Possession of Journeyman Plumber Certification.
• Proficient knowledge across all plumbing facets.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems is beneficial.
• Understanding of water quality management is a plus.
• Valid state driver’s license and minimum age of 18 years.
• Capability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and at heights up to 200 feet.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive demeanor.
• Competency in maintaining accurate written records and responding to radio communications.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possession of personal hand tools.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
