PHP Laravel Developer

About the Role

Shreek Solutions is seeking an experienced PHP Core & Laravel Developer to join their Jaipur office team. The candidate will be responsible for developing real-time features, APIs, and complete applications primarily using Laravel. This position also includes significant front-end work using Blade and Livewire to ensure the UI is polished and accurate, not just functional.

This role offers potential for growth, where the developer will gradually take ownership over system architecture and contribute to technical decisions beyond merely executing assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining web applications using Core PHP and Laravel frameworks.
• Creating and integrating RESTful APIs that are consumed by other systems or users.
• Implementing real-time features utilizing WebSockets and Laravel Reverb.
• Building front-end components with Blade and Livewire, ensuring visual fidelity to design specifications.
• Producing clean, maintainable code that facilitates ease of future updates and debugging.
• Analyzing and resolving performance bottlenecks such as slow database queries.
• Debugging issues across the complete technology stack when problems arise.
• Collaborating with designers and QA teams to deliver fully functional features.
• Providing architectural input and advocating for best practices within the development team.
• Conducting code reviews and encouraging high coding standards.
• Utilizing Git with good commit and branching hygiene.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Core PHP and Laravel development.
• Strong understanding of PHP fundamentals including object-oriented programming and MVC architecture.
• Practical experience in building REST APIs used by other consumers.
• Proven exposure to WebSocket technology with real-time application development, ideally with Laravel Reverb or similar tools like Pusher or Socket.io.
• Competence in frontend development using Blade and Livewire with an ability to deliver pixel-perfect UI.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query writing and schema design.
• Familiarity with Laravel tools such as Eloquent ORM, queues, and event listeners.
• Proficient in using Git for version control.
• Awareness of security best practices during development phases.

Desirable Additional Skills

• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Ability to analyze existing systems for architectural insights and propose improvements.
• Basic knowledge of Docker containerization.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs including payment gateways and messaging services.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a self-driven developer who can independently analyze and resolve coding challenges without detailed supervision. Candidates should care about maintainable and sustainable code and be motivated to assume increased technical responsibilities rather than staying restricted to specific tasks.

Additional Information

• Work location: Jaipur office only; remote work is not available for this position.
• Salary range: INR 18,000 to 25,000 per month.
