PCV Bus Driver

About the Role

Join Arriva as an experienced PCV Bus Driver based at the Bootle Depot, contributing to your community by providing vital transportation services. You'll help facilitate journeys such as transporting children to school, commuters to their workplaces, and the public to various events and shopping destinations.

Compensation

• Weekday pay: £18.30 per hour
• Weekend pay (Saturday & Sunday): £22.88 per hour
• Bank holidays: £27.45 per hour
• Overtime paid at a flat rate

Working Hours

• Rotating shift patterns covering five days out of seven, scheduled 6 to 8 weeks in advance to promote work-life balance
• Shift start times: mornings from 4 AM, afternoons from 12 PM, evenings from 6 PM
• Overtime available based on need and availability
• No opportunity for exclusively fixed early, afternoon, or evening shifts

Candidate Requirements

• Valid PCV licence is mandatory
• A minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Licence points must not exceed six
• Strong customer service aptitude and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
