Primary Purpose
This position is focused on delivering exceptional customer service by efficiently managing referrals related to medical goods and services for clients and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with patients to verify demographic data, provide updates on referral statuses, and confirm the delivery of medical goods or services.
- Coordinate with vendor partners, claims adjusters, and nurse case managers to share updates on new and ongoing referrals.
- Identify and secure appropriate vendor partners for each referral based on requested goods or services.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls regarding new, existing, or team referrals.
- Provide clients with quotes for approval and follow up to ensure written consent for medically necessary referrals approved by claims adjusters.
- Verify that all relevant billing details are complete in each referral to align with workflow and billing procedures and facilitate timely billing.
- Process referrals in compliance with state laws and workers' compensation guidelines.

- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
- Support organizational quality initiatives.
- Travel as required for job responsibilities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- At least two years of experience in healthcare networks or patient care scheduling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment
