Job Purpose
The Parts Advisor supports sales activities for an assigned portfolio by implementing sales strategies and adhering to company mission and standard operating procedures. The role demands direct customer engagement to meet portfolio targets and ensure achievement of business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily parts sales activities following established sales processes to meet portfolio performance requirements in coordination with portfolio management.
- Drive sustainable sales growth by applying credit sales criteria and understanding market size and potential.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a "Guest First" approach to identify and satisfy customer needs effectively.
- Collaborate with Parts Manager and Supervisor to arrange customer visits to generate revenue and maintain customer retention.
- Participate in sales team meetings to review targets, resolve complaints, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate unresolved issues to maintain satisfaction.
- Engage in regular product knowledge updates with management to enhance confidence and sales performance.
- Liaise closely with Accessories Department to meet customer demands on additional parts and accessories.
- Assist in year-end stocktaking, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Coordinate invoicing and payment processes following standard procedures to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Submit sales or credit invoices promptly to Parts Supervisor for release of spare parts to customers.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Understanding of customer service principles including needs assessment, quality standards, and satisfaction evaluation.
- Familiarity with sales methods such as product demonstration, sales techniques, and control systems relevant to the Saudi automotive industry.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
- Proficiency in English language structure including grammar and spelling.
- Awareness of operational timelines such as cut-off and parts arrival times.
- Ability to follow discount and return invoice policies and comply with Ministry of Commerce regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum diploma in sales or equivalent qualification.
- Preferred minimum of one year sales experience.
