Position Overview

Joining the County of Brant as Part Time Canteen Staff, the role involves various responsibilities supporting food service operations primarily located at Gaukel Memorial Community Centre initially. This temporary, onsite position suits individuals who thrive with flexible scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and occasional short notice shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages to customers efficiently and courteously
• Replenishing inventory and maintaining supplies of machines and concession items
• Ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of the concession and food preparation areas
• Preparing and assembling food orders accurately
• Handling cash transactions responsibly

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old

Compensation & Schedule

The hourly wage is $18.94 for employees under 18 years and $19.93 for those over 18. Work hours range from zero up to 24 hours weekly, covering evenings, weekends, and potential short-notice call-ins.
